This artwork was created during a collaborative guest artist session at Slemmestad Cultural School in Asker, Norway. Young participants engaged in beadwork, modeling, and photography, guided by me. The session, part of UngKunst, a visual arts talent program within Norway’s cultural school system, focused on fostering creativity and personal expression.
The project encouraged the students to reflect on global issues such as war, conflict, and displacement, while processing their own emotional responses. Through this process, participants were invited to connect with young people worldwide facing similar challenges, cultivating a sense of solidarity and awareness.
